Tour of my Apartment

I figured it was time to show you around where I live.
In some ways, it looks nice. In other ways it looks gross.
Let me just say...I do NOT enjoy living here.
I definitely look forward to the weekends when I can escape.

This is the kitchen.
It is really small, and really smelly.
We only have two burners, and no oven.
I can always smell gas leaking into the kitchen.
I'm told it is because the tubing in the walls is really cheap.

 This is the back yard.
It hasn't been mowed since I've gotten here.
It's kind of difficult to see, but on the bottom right you can see a sink hole.
It is actually a very large sink hole, that is right under the apartment.
This is back in the kitchen.
Most of this food isn't mine. My only shelf is at the top left.
Next to the kitchen is this little corner. It is where we keep the water cooler, an extra fridge, and the microwave. However, the microwave shocks you when you touch it, so I avoid it when I can.
In the laundry room is where the traditional Chinese toilet is.
No one uses it.
It just gathers dust.
 This is the living room.
It looks nice, but it's not.
When I first moved in, everything was covered in layers and layers of dust.
So I cleaned.
Also, the couch is stained, and very uncomfortable.
Yes, we do have a television, and a DVD player.
After looking at all of the cords, I successfully connected everything and got the DVD player to work.
However, only 5 of the movies I brought with me will work on it.
So it's pretty much useless.
This is my "closet" in my room.
Yes, there's a fair amount of storage space, but it's not like I have all that much to organize.
This is my bed. It was originally a bunk bed.
The mattress is really hard (even with a mattress pad), and the room is really cold.
You can also see my collection of postcards on the wall that I insisted on bringing with me.
This is the bathroom that is upstairs.
It takes 5 minutes for the water to become warm-ish.
This is a bad, bad thing, because once the shower is on for more than 3 minutes, the entire bathroom floods and water ends up in the hall.
Yes, we do have a proper toilet in the apartment.
I don't know what I'd do if we didn't have this.
